Description
1811 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-109. Rarity-3. Small 8. MS-62 (PCGS).
Iridescent toning in golden-olive, steel-blue and pinkish-rose blankets both sides and provides superior eye appeal at the BU grade level. Frosty mint luster is full and lively, the strike sharply executed in all but a few isolated areas. Although considered to be a fairly common variety overall, attractive Mint State survivors such as this are scarce and always in demand.
