"1785" (ca. 1863) Confederatio Cent, Small Stars. By John Adams Bolen. Musante JAB-8, Kenney-3, W-14250. Copper. MS-63 BN (PCGS).

26.7 mm. 149.7 grains. Lustrous chocolate brown with attractive accents of blue-green iridescence and traces of lingering red close to some of the letters. Excellent quality with an aesthetic to match. A very popular colonial copy by this highly skilled die-sinker. One of just 40 believed to have been struck.
