Grove-9a; Fonrobert-6539. Struck to commemorate the inauguration of Augustin I Iturbide as Emperor of Mexico. Obverse: Crowned imperial eagle stands on cactus; Reverse: Five line inscription with wreath around. A flashy Medal with the usual slight strike weakness on the centers, good field luster, and with just a hint of peripheral tone.
