1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 37.11-ff.2, W-4170. Rarity-5. Draped Bust Left, ETLIR. Extremely Fine, Reverse Verdigris.
171.3 grains. Frosty chocolate-brown surfaces, technically quite high grade but weakly struck at the upper obverse and lower reverse due to axially misaligned dies -- something seen on many of the variety. Naturally rough planchet texture is seen at the weakly struck portion of the obverse. A few patches of verdigris are noted across the lower reverse.
