Bi-metallic, and the last year coins were struck prior to the 2007 coinage reform, in which 1000 Bolivares = 1 Bolivar Fuerte. 3) 100 Bolivares, 2016. MS-66. KM-Y-106. A coin of the 'Bolivar Fuerte' currency type (2007-17). 4) 50 Bolivares, 2016. MS-66. KM-Y-105. A coin of the 'Bolivar Fuerte' currency type (2007-17). 5) 10 Bolivares, 2016. MS-65. KM-Y-104. A coin of the 'Bolivar Fuerte' currency type (2007-17). An interesting gathering of modern circulating issues, each depicting Simon Bolivar. All are Gem or better with the exception the 2005 1000 Bolivares which is choice uncirculated and displays a thin layer of tone. A neat grouping of high grade circulating coinage that would make a nice addition for the beginner looking to expand their numismatic knowledge and appreciation of modern Venezuelan currency reform.
