IRELAND. Penny, ND (1297-1302). Dublin Mint. Edward I. PCGS AU-53.
S-6264. Second coinage ('ЄDW') coinage, late issue, group G. Obverse: Crowned facing bust; pellet below; all within triangle; Reverse: Long cross pattee, with trefoil in each angle. With a wondrously light rainbow tone and strong radiant luster underneath, this Penny is far better struck than the mean and is a wholesome example for the collector of British hammered issues.
