Obverse: perspective view of the cathedral; coat-of-arms of Fürstenberg-Stammheim above; Reverse: Ornate perspective interior view of the nave and choir. An impressive and hefty medal celebrating the church dedicated to St. Apollinaris in Remagen. The site was built atop a Roman temple which was said to house relics of the first century martyr.
