CRI-397; RIC-251 (Augustus). Obverse: Diademed head of Venus right; Reverse: Octavian advancing left, extending arm holding transverse spear. A popular Roman Imperatorial issue from Octavian, this example displays a bold and relatively well centered strike considering the issue. A bit of surface porosity is noted, but only light wear.
