Some hairlines from polish, small batch of marks near bust truncation in lower left obverse field. The Royal West Kent Regiment was among the units that guarded Boer War POWs in Malta and Gibraltar. Prinsep appears as one of 13 drummers on the medal rolls for this unit. Offered with a modern ribbon.
