1848 British Military General Service medal with one clasp. CHATEAUGUAY. Silver, 36 mm. MY-98 (clasp xxi), BBM-44. Extremely Fine.

P. GODBOUT, CANADn MILITIA punched on edge. Pretty toning in pastel blue and violet is seen on both sides, otherwise toned a deep dusky gray. The fields remain reflective, and the eye appeal is very nice. Some minor spotting is seen on the obverse. Pierre Godbout appears on the rolls for this clasp, having served as a private in the 5th Battalion, Select Embodied Militia. Offered with a vintage ribbon.
