RUSSIA. Ruble, 1727. Kadashevsky (Moscow) Mint. Peter II. PCGS AU-55.
KM-182.1; Dav-1667; Bit-25. No stars in reverse legend. This very nicely struck, though slightly off center, Ruble has essentially intact luster. Almost no evidence of handling is present, and the color is an attractive light silvery look. A visible die crack is noted on the obverse next to the bust of Peter II. VERY SCARCE, especially in this condition, this is the finest graded example by PCGS and is tied with 4 others from NGC for the finest.
From the Mark and Lottie Salton Collection.
