SYRIA. Seleukid Kingdom. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 B.C. AR Tetradrachm (15.48 gms), Antioch on the Orontes Mint, 162-155/4 B.C. NGC EF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 4/5.

HGC-9, 795f; SC-1635c. Obverse: Diademed head right within laurel wreath border; Reverse: Tyche, holding scepter and cornucopia, seated left on backless throne with winged tritoness support; monogram to outer left. Struck ever so slightly off-center, this wholesome example presents a subtle gray tone and light, even wear.
