SICILY. Akragas. AR Didrachm (8.78 gms), ca. 510-500 B.C. NGC AU, Strike: 4/5 Surface: 4/5.

HGC-2, 89; Westermark-50 (O25/R24); SNG ANS-916. Obverse: Sea eagle standing right; Reverse: Crab. An early issue from a popular series, this deeply toned example does feature a bit of an irregular flan, but presents a solid strike overall with little actual evidence of any handling.
