CELTIC. Eastern Europe. AR Tetradrachm (13.00 gms), "Zweigreiter" type, ca. 3rd-2nd Centuries B.C. NGC Ch EF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5.

cf. Lanz-378; OTA type-44A var. (rev. type left). Imitating Philip II. Obverse: Stylized laureate head of Zeus right; Reverse: Stylized rider on horse prancing right; wreath to left, plant below belly. Well centered and exceptionally struck, this charming issue presents much greater quality than is generally encountered for the type.
