Description

RUSSIA. Ruble, 1733. Kadashevsky (Moscow) Mint. Anna. NGC MS-62.

KM-192.2; Dav-1671; Bit-64. This beautiful Ruble has an attractive granite-like appearance with pinkish and golden tone flecking silver surfaces. Nicely struck, it is richly detailed and has very little evidence in the way of contact or marking. There is some lamination peel on the obverse noted for completeness, which is not an uncommon problem for these early strikes. Nonetheless, this wholesome example is fully charming and worthy of a place in a fine collection.
