Description
1880-S Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-68 (NGC).
The 1880-S is one in a series of readily collectible Morgan dollar type coin issues from the San Francisco Mint. This is the highest grade for which the 1880-S is accessible. Anything finer would prove well out of reach for most collectors. A crescent of rainbow color frames the borders on each side. Expectedly unabraded and fully struck with full cartwheel mint frost. Only 19 are finer at NGC.
