This undeniably original example exhibits a blanket of rich copper-gray patina to the obverse. The reverse is a bit lighter with blended olive and pearl gray patina overall, the right periphery with enhancing blushes of vivid sea green and reddish-gold iridescence. Sharply struck, lustrous, and supremely attractive. This richly toned and uncommonly smooth example has the "old time" appearance that advanced Liberty Seated dollar collectors find so appealing, and is worthy of the strongest bids.
