A lovely specimen of a scarce variety that appears to be unknown in Mint State. This choice AU-50 has silky smooth chocolate-brown surfaces that retain traces of mint gloss and have just light, even wear across the high points. There is some brick-red color at a few spots along the left obverse rim and across the upper reverse, but absolutely no roughness, planchet flaws, or other impairments to note. Expertly centered with full design elements and even most of the dentil border visible around each side. A top notch example.
