1839-O Capped Bust Half Dollar. Reeded Edge. HALF DOL. GR-1. Rarity-1. Repunched Mintmark. VF-35 (PCGS).
Rich steel and dove-gray patina with the lighter shade confined to the protected areas around the design elements. A thoroughly appealing mid grade example of this historically significant New Orleans Mint half dollar issue.
