Description
1831 Capped Bust Dime. JR-5. Rarity-1. MS-64 PL (NGC).
This near-Gem 1831 dime is bright silver overall with a remarkable amount of reflectivity in the fields on each side, thus the "PL" designation by NGC. The strike is absolute and full, with traces of clashing below Liberty's ear and above the date from the scroll on the reverse. Important at this condition level for the die pairing and a delight to behold.
