Virtually pristine satiny surfaces radiate dashing tiger-orange color. The perfectly struck design elements show absolutely no weakness, with Lincoln's overcoat and the L of LIBERTY fully formed. Upon closer observation, a razor-thin die crack extends from the left wheat ear. Any aesthetic imperfections are virtually nonexistent. From one of the most influential and memorable issues of all numismatics, this Superb Gem 1909 V.D.B. Lincoln cent exemplifies the spirit of the hobby and will attract ample attention at the auction block. Only four are graded finer by PCGS.
