1873 Indian Cent. Close 3. MS-65 RB (PCGS).
Blended medium orange-gold luster and soft brown patina greet the viewer from both sides of this sharply impressed Gem. This popular semi-key date and its Open 3 counterpart are eagerly sought in Gem Mint State as bidding on this lot will no doubt illustrate. Choice and appealing. Just eight RB examples of the date has been graded finer than the present Gem by PCGS.
