MALAYA. British United East India Company. Sumatra. 4 Kepings, AH 1219 (1804). NGC MS-63.

KM-267. Thin Planchet variety. A sharply struck and overall pleasing coin, with silky luster and bright mint red outlining most of the raised devices.

1804年蘇門答臘東印度公司4柯坪。

薄坯。整體精美，絲綢光澤，原廠紅光亮麗，突顯圖文。儘管我們把此幣收錄於荷屬東印度，但其鑄幣於英國，不列顛東印度公司發行。拿破侖戰爭時期，當地軍隊在斯坦福-萊佛士帶領下佔領荷蘭建築。此後於1815年維也納會議時期歸還荷蘭。萊佛士繼而創立新加坡。
