(t) CHINA. Bamboo Token Talley String (100 Pieces), 1928. Average Grade: VERY FINE.

An intact string has a denomination go 1000 Cash with each token being worth 10 Cash, which was about equivalent to a silver Dollar at the time that could be used for tea, drinks, meals, haircuts etc. Each has its own unique serial number. A truly interesting and curious item that can help show a glimpse into another type of currency. Sharp and close inspection is highly suggested. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.
