CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Brass Charm, ND. VERY FINE.
CCH-1807. Weight: 20.15 gms, diameter: 44 mm. A Charm invoking fortune to receive first rank at the imperial court following the examination for the Hanlin Academy. The reverse features a standing figure on right, dragon below, and constellation above. A well cast piece with dark brown patina and some darker staining, along with a dusting of earthen material in the fields.
