L&M-1060; Fr-14; K-1529; Hsu-22; WS-0655. Struck using dies with heavy polish lines, with additional hairlines from a light cleaning. The fields around the characters on the non-wreath side appear to have been smoothed a bit, whence the tooling designation thus emanates. Nevertheless, an EXTREMELY RARE and seemingly never encountered type with a fabled past, having been a military issue struck under the auspices of General Fan Shi-sheng during his skirmishes against Tang Ji-yao.
