L&M-435; K-939; KM-A3; WS-0704; Lec-325. Variety with small stag's head. Struck for use in the French Indo-China opium trade. Featuring an anepigraphic obverse with a stag's head, this specimen emanates from the wildly popular 'drug trade' series and exhibits some charming cobalt and burgundy toning, along with great underlying brilliance.
