cf. BHM-2107. By T. Halliday. Diameter: 54mm. Obverse: Capped and robed bust facing slightly right; Reverse: Legend in 13 lines. An EXTREMELY RARE variant of the type, struck on a significantly larger planchet (54mm versus 45mm) than the variety that typically appears. A fancy border on the reverse with dentils and beads at the rims further sets the variety apart. Light handling determines the grade, however given its rarity, this medal is sure to add great significance to the next collection it enters.
