Supposedly struck in imitation of the 1934 soviet "Pattern" 20 Cents, this piece exhibits bold legends with somewhat flat central designs. The mottled rich slate and golden-gray patina add to its pleasing appearance indicative of prolonged storage. Undoubtedly, this imitative issue was produced to accommodate completionists collectors wishing to acquire examples of all the different types.
