ATTICA. Athens. AR Tetradrachm (17.09 gms), ca. 454-404 B.C. NGC EF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5.
HGC-4, 1597; Kroll-8. Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. Though struck somewhat off center on the obverse, this lightly toned specimen still offers a great overall appearance with a fairly bold strike.
