Description

GREECE. Bank of Crete. 100 Drachmai, 1909-15. P-S154s. Specimen. PCGS Currency Very Choice New 64.

Perforated Cancelled. Antiquity era coin at top left with portrait of King George I at top right. Arms at top center with bank name above. Yellow ink is seen at center while dark green ink is found at left and right ends. The margins offer boardwalk paper. The reverse of the note depicts a Labyrinth at center surrounded by an intricate dark blue design. "100" counters are found in all four corners in bold blue detail. Scarce, and surely missing from the most advanced collection of Greek paper money.
