1873 Round 25 Cents. BG-871. Rarity-6+. Indian Head--Double Struck, Rotated 45 Degrees--MS-64 PL (PCGS).
Remnants of the first strike are particularly pronounced around the obverse periphery and in the central reverse field. With warmer olive undertones and bright golden-orange color, this is a beautiful prooflike near-Gem that will have great appeal to advanced collectors. Very scarce!
