1899-S Liberty Head Eagle. MS-62 PL (PCGS).
Subtle pale silver overtones to dominant honey-apricot color, both sides readily reveal flashy prooflike reflectivity in the fields as the coin rotates under a light. As of this writing there are only four 1899-S eagles certified as MS-62 PL by PCGS, with none finer in this category; we are pleased to be offering all four of these special coins in this sale.
