This piece honors the famous social reformer who pioneered the practice of modern nursing as well as sanitary and hygiene reform. Her exploits during the Crimean War propelled her to fame, where she became known as "The Lady with the Lamp". An attractive and RARE Medal with reflective fields, somewhat frosty devices, and a prominent die crack on the lower obverse.
