Obverse: Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches with trefoils at cusps; annulets flanking neck; Reverse: Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters; additional annulets in second and third quarters. Deeply toned and only very lightly handled, this impressive hammered issue offers great eye appeal that is dazzling and seldom seen.
