Diameter: 38mm. Obverse: Head left, wearing kalimafi and veghar; Reverse: Cathedral of St. Etchmiadzin, with Mt. Ararat in the background. Rather brilliant with a charming frosting to the devices, this specimen does exhibit some light spotting on the head of the Catholicos. A RARE and seldom seen medal honoring the jubilee for the man who would eventually have the fourth-longest reign in the history of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Includes original case of issue along with certificate of authenticity as number 1476.
