Obverse: Facing bust of Christ Pantokrator; Reverse: Crowned facing busts of Basil, wearing loros, and Constantine, wearing chlamys, holding between them a patriarchal cross with pellet on shaft. Though struck slightly off center on the obverse, this charming, lightly handled example is free from many of the issues that typically plague Byzantine gold.
