PHOCAS, 602-610. AV Solidus (4.47 gms), Constantinople Mint, 5th Officina, 607-609. NGC Ch AU, Strike: 4/5 Surface: 3/5. Edge Scuffs.
S-620. Obverse: Crowned and draped bust facing, holding globus cruciger; Reverse: Angel standing facing, holding globus cruciger and staff surmounted by staurogram; Є//CONOB. Struck on a somewhat irregular flan, this barely handled example still retains a good deal of lustrous brilliance.
