Zetzmann-4004. Diameter: 33mm. By L. C. Lauer. The Battle of Liege. Obverse: Uniformed bust facing slightly left; Reverse: Downward sword dividing date, partially within oak wreath. A mostly argent specimen, this highly brilliant piece features frosting to the devices and mirrored fields, ultimately yielding a strong cameo nature. A hint of cobalt toning is observed, through some lightly scattered hairlines are as well.
