1867 Jesse Ketchum Medal for the Public Schools of Buffalo, New York. By William and Charles E. Barber. Julian SC-14. Silver. About Uncirculated.

35.8 mm. 277.6 grains. Engraved 545 in the reverse exergue. Pleasing deep pearlescent gray with accents of blue and rose iridescence. A bit more handled than the above example, but more aesthetically pleasing. A few light hairlines and marks, but none is series. Housed in an original fitted case of issue, lined in red satin. Gilt stamped inside the front cover, T. & E. Dickinson / Buffalo N.Y, but very faded. The case is fairly worn, but functionally intact. (Total: 1 medal; 1 case)
