Pennsylvania--Nicholson. Undated (1898) Masonic Past Masters Jewel issued by the Nicholson Lodge #438. Silver. Extremely Fine.
Approximately 75 mm x 90 mm overall. 21.0 grams total weight. Extremely Fine metal parts, the blue silk ribbon is frayed. Square with Masonic symbols, Diagram of Euclid's 47th Problem suspended below. Issued to Past Master Fred A. Colvin, who was Master of the lodge in 1897. This five-part badge is not marked as to metal composition, but these were typically made of silver. Housed in a well-worn leather and silk folding case which is missing one half of its snap closure.
