Glints of russet toning in a few isolated peripheral areas are all that interrupt an otherwise pearl-gray appearance for both sides of this bold EF example. Appreciably lustrous for the assigned grade with little to report in the way of even trivial handling marks. With perhaps as many as 800 coins extant in all grades, including a number of AU and Mint State examples, BB-113 is one of the more realistic type candidates among die varieties of the 1798 Heraldic Eagle dollar.
