Vermont Copper
1786 Vermont Copper. Landscape. RR-8, Bressett 6-E, W-2030. Rarity-4-. VERMONTENSIUM. VF-35 (PCGS).
104.8 grains. Arguably the scarcest of the three VERMONTENSIUM varieties and almost certainly the most challenging to find in choice better grades. This unusually high quality example sports a bold strike and well made planchet that has a small curved clip but none of the oft seen voids or striations. Slightly off center but only the very tops of a few letters are affected. Deep coffee-brown surfaces that nicely glossy and free of consequential marks.
PCGS# 545.
