93.8 grains. A scarce major variety of St. Patrick farthing and this a desirable example offering full, well centered detail, pleasing color, and noteworthy provenance including its status as the plate coin for the variety in the Breen Encyclopedia. Light chocolate brown with darker toning in the background, the surfaces rather rough in texture yet with a glossy finish. Natural planchet depression at St. Patrick's legs, otherwise free of notable marks or flaws.
