cf. KM-Y-120.3; cf.CL-HP.24. Part of a remarkable group of errors on Chinese coppers we are offering in this sale. The attribution of variety is, of course, tentative as the obverse is missing. The "Environmental Damage" is some light, unobtrusive pitting on the incuse side. Well used and colored deep brown. That this error and the others in this group are well circulated shows how little attention was paid to the fabric of the coins used every day.
