Highly Pleasing & Wholesome "Auto" Dollar

CHINA. Kweichow. Auto Dollar, Year 17 (1928). NGC AU-50.

L&M-609; K-757; KM-Y-428; WS-1109. Variety with two grass blades. Struck to commemorate the completion of the Kweichow (Guizhou) Provincial Highway and reportedly features Governor Zhou Xicheng's personal automobile. A bit of wear is noted, as well as a few light marks as to be expected for the grade, but entirely wholesome and original. Some striking weakness is noted on the door panels, but other details are still rather strong and appealing. Quite difficult to encounter in this elevated state of preservation.

兩葉草版別。紀念貴州高速路建成，圖中汽車應為貴州省長周西成之座駕。可見少許磨損，一些輕微傷痕，與評級相符，但總體完好，原汁原味。車門處些微弱打，但其它細節精深。此種保存狀態難得。
