L&M-989; Li-P.33. Also known as the "Legation" medal, commemorating Li Hung Chang's world tour. Both sides identical: Two facing dragons, a sun design between with six characters above and four below, the whole encircled by an ornamental border. A sharply struck Medal with a bit of flash in the fields, blessed with somber gray toning that shows some subtle color when rotated in the light.

大清欽差大臣賞給功牌。

李鴻章出訪西方紀念。雙面圖案相同，上書"大清欽差大臣"六字，正中心為太陽圖案，兩側各有一龍相向盤旋，下部書"賞給功牌"四字，外圍一圈花邊環繞。鑄打深峻，淺灰色包漿，燈光下透現更多光澤。
