Gem Pattern Mace Restrike

L&M-1021; cf. K-930; WS-0004. Plain edge restrike from original dies. This sparkling little Gem exhibits a sharp strike much brilliance and frosted devices. This pattern only issue is seldom encountered in any format and is heavily sought after by collectors. Upon close inspection it becomes obvious that the dies have been polished, but areas of natural surface roughness associated with die rust are still present. This attractive minor issue is sure to catch the attention of many collectors.
