BMC-Class LXVI Group I # 885. Weight: 180.7 gms. "Chen yuan chang ji hui hao wen yin" (Chenyuanchang Bank, remittance bank fine silver), "Guan gong gu tong kan" (Inspected by official public assayer Tong). This richly toned and nicely preserved survivor exhibits deeply impressed outer and central stamps with bold clear assay stamps. A small void is noticed in the central stamp as is commonly encountered on these issues, but hardly a distraction. This wholly original looking example clearly sat for a prolonged period of time undisturbed adding to its pleasing appearance.
