Dav-4929; KM-93. Weight: 65.46 gms. These pieces were made for presentation and generally come well struck as the present example is. Lustrous, unmarked, and pleasantly toned, the MS-60 grade emanates from the planchet defect in the center that runs all the way through to the reverse. Nevertheless, since this was a production issue and not from handling, it would seemingly be more appropriately graded at a choice level and not "merely" as Mint State. Highly pleasing and original, with great character.
